MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Preventive Maintenance

According to Preventive Maintenance Program of EHC, Maintenance Technician maintains all production and auxiliary equipment to ensure they work well all the time.As per the requirement of Equipment Daily Checklist, Maintenance Technician performs checking, calibration, operation and maintenance on all production and auxiliary equipment so as to prevent any potential hazardous and avoid energy waste.Maintenance Technician completes the checklist of equipment running conditions on the Maintenance Log for each shift.Maintenance Technician assists contractor to do some special equipment (such as fork truck, air conditioner, air compressor, etc) scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs and ensures all maintenance work accomplished well. Maintenance Technician carries out any task assigned by Equipment & Facility Manager or Maintenance Team Leader.

Trouble Shooting

Is able to consistently and reliably troubleshoot in the following areas: Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and Electronics.Is responsible for keep all plant equipment and facilities in good condition. When the machine breaks down, the first priority to recover it.Where repairs may be required off regular hours, must be available and on call.

Inventory

Maintenance Technician maintains inventory control of spare parts by keeping track of them, records any spare parts consumption on Maintenance Log and updates Maintenance Inventory Transfer Form in accordance with actual quantity. Maintenance Technician immediately reports to Equipment & Facility Supervisor for re-order in case any critical parts shortage comes so as to prevent unnecessary and avoidable downtime.

Health & Safety

By daily checking, Maintenance Technician ensures electrical, water and air/gas supply of facility to be in control well without any potential hazards.

5S

According to established 5S standard, Maintenance Technician keeps the clean and tidy condition in maintenance room, spare parts warehouse and other assigned area such as chiller room, air compressor room and hot-water boiler room, etc.   Key AttributesEducation: Senior High School /vocational school or equivalent education.Experience: more than 3 years equipment maintenance experience in ISO9001 manufacturing plant (rubber and polymer manufacturing plant is preferred), familiar with electrical trouble shooting.Has licensed on medium grade of electrical maintenance.Knows hydraulic equipment trouble shooting, such as rubber press, injection machine, etc. Plus CNC lathe maintenance experience is preferred.
