We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operator to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products. Performs line assembly operations to produce and assemble through Lean Manufacturing Methodologies

You will:

Operate machines, start up and shutdowns, perform machine adjustments and maintain all equipment to meet Safety and Quality requirements.Set-up and process all molding machines to the optimum conditions, and make sure the machines are operating under validated operating parameters.Ensure all department procedures are understood and followed.Assist operators in processing and troubleshooting.Ensure that P.Ms are performed routinely on molds, molding machines and auxiliary equipment.Direct and perform mold changeovers and establish change over cycle time sheets and process sheets.Participate in Process Management Teams and LEAN initiatives.Must be able to communicate effectively with department personnel and all support functions (Quality, Tool Room (Mold Shop) and MaintenanceLead the shift and report shift performance in the absence of the Team Leader i.e. downtime, production, scrap.Participate in all training programsMust be willing to work flexible hours as required.

Key Qualifications: 

High School DiplomaTwo plus years of Injection Molding processing experience on presses ranging from 50 to 1500 ton.Experience with hot runner systems.Must understand machine controls and set points.Ability to troubleshoot processes and perform root cause.Knowledge of processing different types of resins.Good mechanical aptitudeAbility to multi-task.Knowledge of hand tools.Must be willing to rotate 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.

Position hours/shifts available:

2nd shift Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis. 

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $27.00 - $32.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
