The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to work at our food processing facility in Avon, NY! Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment.
Basic Purpose: To assist with all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for the entire plant operation. This includes all functions in the areas of Maintenance Business Management, Maintenance Materials Inventory (MRO), Manufacturing Process Reliability and Equipment Reliability. The Planner will manage all work orders and the team’s SAP systems, as well as preventive/predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Plans, schedules, and confirms work orders/workload for mechanics and electricians on shifts. Creates and modifies PM’s, searches, and adds spare parts, looks for cost savings initiatives for all equipment. Works with Storeroom on needed Parts and Work Orders. Maintain Productive SAP Program. Produce Weekly Maintenance Schedule. KPI Reporting for Maintenance. Must be well organized and able to prioritize tasks well. Strong, professional communication skills. Able to assist in maintenance parts ordering/search when needed Managing and monitoring the workflow of others Strong organization skills Ability to work in a low supervised mode Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.Skills Profile:
Must possess basic math, reading, and computer skills Experience with MS Office and SAP Experience with work order creation, PM creation/modification Knowledge of safety policies and procedures i.e. (lock-out / tag-out, confined space entry) Ensure the quality of our products and workplace by following all Safety and Quality procedures and guidelines Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures Maintain legible, neat and accurate records and reports Attention to detail – able to develop accurate details when describing issues as it relates to the product, or the line equipment. Effective communication skills – able to express themselves in a clear manner both when speaking with other team members, supervisors/process leaders and managers. Decision Making – Can make decisions after identifying problems and act upon them while working with everyday task. Teamwork – Can work as a team when working with others.
