Job Description

Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $83,875.00 per year

Responsible for managing and administrating the Preventive Maintenance program, Work Order program and managing all facets of FTP 2 maintenance parts including purchases and inventory.Plan preventative and predictive maintenance by developing and analyzing downtime reports and determine the root cause of the downtime through failure investigation, maintenance records, interviewing maintenance/production staff and analyzing the equipment.  Chart all progress from these reports and analyze data.Schedule preventive maintenance and work order activities, including project and capital work.  Upgrade the preventive maintenance work orders as needed.Develop and communicate consistencies between the shifts on trouble shooting, preventive and predictive maintenance work order completion and up time.Ensure all parts are properly available for scheduled work.  Analyze parts spending by piece of equipment and develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans based upon historical data.Prepare and plan for purchase requisitions and purchase orders for all inventory needed to support these facility’s needs.Manage other Foster Farms departments and/or outside vendors who are working in the facility in a maintenance capacity.

Qualifications

B.A./B.S. degree preferred.  AA/B.S. degree or technical school graduate or a minimum of 5 years' experience in the food processing industryMust have advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and performing root cause analysis of maintenance failuresMust have three (3) or more years Supervisory experienceMust have knowledge of production equipment fundamentalsMust be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writingMust have strong interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervisionMust have a balanced technical/mechanical/electrical/human resource knowledgeMust be computer literate in Windows and CMMS environmentsMust be able to interface on a daily basis with all support groups or departmentsBilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.Must be able to submit to and successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
