Maintenance Planner
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 3PM, needs to be flexible based on business needs
Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a knack for planning and managing processes? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to join our team and play a crucial role in the work management process.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will collaborate closely with our Plant Technical Team to scope and plan corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance. Your responsibilities will include updating job plans based on feedback from the maintenance team, building and maintaining equipment within the CMMS system, and providing training and coaching to maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to facility work orders Scope, plan, and schedule corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance jobs, including estimating labor, materials, and costs Close out work orders and update the CMMS based on maintenance team feedback Manage and maintain the Plant CMMS as a Subject Matter Expert and Quality Assurance Officer Train and coach maintenance team members on CMMS usage Data entry and management for equipment and repair parts Generate reports and track metrics on maintenance effectiveness Manage non-capital funded maintenance projects, including scope development, costing, timelines, and implementation Interface with project teams on new capital projects, updating the CMMS with new or removed installations, and coordinating maintenance resources Participate fully in Continuous Improvement and Safety efforts, leveraging TPM tools and Early Management Processes Engage in plant safety, health, and environmental programs Focus on achieving company financial goals and implementing cost-reduction ideas Source new vendors to support business needs Partner with production and support teams to develop work order priorities aligned with business needs Monitor maintenance records and ensure proper movement and scheduling of work orders Examine maintenance documents and processes for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards Maintain high-quality work order documentation and recordsWhat You Bring to the Table:
High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical degree or 3 years of planning experience 2+ years of high-level maintenance technician experience Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maintenance Connection Strong Microsoft Office skills Knowledge of principles involved in preventative and predictive maintenance Experience in maintenance project implementation Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing equipment and processes Ability to train and coach individuals and groups Understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation Flexibility to work a variable scheduleIf you are passionate about maintenance planning and eager to make a difference in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
