Maintenance Planner
Glendullan Engineering Centre

Glendullan Engineering Centre services 25 sites across Scotland. GEC is a lively engineering centre that houses stores, recurring works team, maintenance planners and maintenance managers. It also consists of 13 mechanical engineers, 6 electrical techs and 6 control & instrumentation techs.
About the role:
Working closely with Operations teams, Maintenance and Craft groups to optimally plan mandatory and requested maintenance into the production schedule. Ensuring the accurate resource and spare parts are available to carry out the maintenance where applicable. You will attend all Tier Meetings, contribute to the agenda and complete actions as required. Supporting the site adherence to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards will also be a top priority. You will routinely Lead weekly maintenance integrated planning meeting providing scheduled maintenance requirements and analysis of asset performance trends while work with Operations, Maintenance and support teams to identify areas of plant under performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in line with operating procedures to ensure all hazards/risks are handled and familiar with hazard/incident reporting processes while supporting deployment of the Manufacturing Excellence Asset Care Strategy with technical teams and Operations.
Provide asset data trend to multi-disciplinary problem-solving teams to allow systemic and situational problems to be addressed.
Attend routine maintenance review meetings. Provide maintenance SAP reports to allow work to be analysed and prioritised as necessary and support the optimization of maintenance schedule plans including CapEx projects, shutdown periods and asset availability
Completion of mandatory training in accordance with the Diageo training matrix.
Understand and use MMS principles tools and techniques
Experience / skills required:

Essential
Excellent analytical skills with ability to drive improvements
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the plant
Ability to organise a variety of tasks and prioritise self and others accordingly
Experienced in data analysis, use of applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
Desirable
Hands-on maintenance / Engineering experience
Knowledge of Distilling & Malting processes
Good presenting skills
Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance techniques and SAP-PM system
Experience
3 years' experience working in a production or service environment, with a technical and or/management background would be an advantage, though not imperative
