Job Title: Facilities Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operations of our industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in both technical and administrative aspects of facility management, with a focus on food manufacturing.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of 4-6 hourly employees, providing guidance, training, and support.Report directly to the Facilities Superintendent, ensuring all maintenance activities align with company standards and goals.Oversee the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, boilers, plant water systems, air compressors, HVAC systems (ammonia experience is a plus), various types of doors, and food manufacturing floor maintenance.Manage contractors and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Perform administrative tasks including the use of MS Office products, especially Excel, and CMMS systems.Conduct coaching and disciplinary actions for subordinates as needed.Work primarily on the day shift, with the understanding that some weekends and/or after-hours work may be required.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in maintenance planning within an industrial manufacturing environment.Experience in the food industry is highly favorable.Proficiency with CMMS systems and a firm grasp of industry-standard planning models.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.Financial acumen and the ability to manage maintenance budgets effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques.Progressive experience in maintenance departments is desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. This is a day shift role with occasional weekend or after-hours work. Standard shifts are as follows: 1st shift - 5:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Florence, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $72800.00/yr.
