This is Salary Exempt position. 

Job SummaryResponsible for planning and coordinating manpower, parts, materials and equipment access to improve workforce productivity, safety and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays.Acts as a liaison between Production and Maintenance departments for planning purposes.Uses Maximo and other computer systems to maintain records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance informationThe Planner must know the job well enough that they can describe what is to be accomplished and can estimate how many man-hours will be requiredCommunicate plans with all levels of the organizationEssential Job FunctionsStrong commitment to Safety in the performance of maintenance efforts.Work independently and with other plant personnel to plan for preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. Schedule for predictive and preventative maintenance repairsComplete data entry and management of equipment and repairsCommunicate effectively through speech and writing along with other mediums such as emailStrong organizational skills and ability to plan priorities effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organizationMaintain equipment information and repair filesTrack key planned maintenance metrics and communicate these metrics to the plantManage assigned mechanical contract work and assist in the supervision and controlRequest parts and materials needed for work order packages and not stocked in the storeroomsEnsure adherence to standard work processes, including developing and integrating standardsProvide  support to the team on nights, weekends, or holidays including on-call dutiesReview the work plan with the respective site managers/​supervisors/​leads, and maintain communications for planned maintenance​Create detailed job planning and communicate weekly maintenance work schedules which include: outage schedule, list of planned work orders, and resource requirementsEvaluates JSA requirements and requests support to develop when neededMaintain clear, open communication with departments/requestor to determine total scope of work and the appropriate priority of work to be performedManage and understand the maintenance back logDevelop and manage AFEs for the facilityAbility to facilitate and run maintenance oriented meetings along with pre and post project review meetingsDevelop a strong understanding of facility work rulesDevelop a strong understanding of facility equipmentAct as a liaison between ADM and third party vendorsAbility to interpret maintenance manualsAbility to learn and use Maintenance programs such as Maximo, CoupaMay perform reasonably similar or related duties as assignedJob RequirementsExperience in industrial maintenance preferredPreferred Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systemsPreferred Knowledge of planning softwarePreferred Typically a minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance/reliability planning & scheduling in a GMP/FDA-regulated areaProficient in the use of computer software tools (Email, spreadsheets, word processing and data-base)Communicate effectively through speech and writing along with other mediums such as emailWorking Conditions
DustChemicals / IrritantsThe scope of the position may have exposure to and use of chemicals, solvents, and cleaners that may be hazardous and/or cause injury if specific instructions regarding their mixture, use, and disposal/storage are not properly followed.Inside areas:Spring / Summer: Temperatures in some areas of the facility will be up to or exceed 100 degreesFall / Winter:  Temperatures in the facility may be at or below freezing.Outside areas:Spring / Summer: Outside temperature may be up to or exceed 100 degrees with potential for high humidity.   May be exposed to inclement weather conditions including, but not limited to, rain and wind.Fall / Winter:   Outside temperatures reaches freezing or below. May be exposed to inclement weather including, freezing rain, sleet, snow and wind.Some manufacturing processes within the facility are highly reliant on machinery and other processing equipment and, as a result, noise levels may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50lbs from waist to shoulder on an occasional basisPush/pull requirement up to 50lbsRequires a full range of physical motion to move throughout the facility, including climbing stairs in all buildings, and to work at heightsMust be able to walk 1-3 hoursMust be able to sit 5-8 hoursMust be able to squat/kneel on an occasional basisMust be able to climb stairs/ladders on an occasional basisConstant computer/keyboardingProlonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, walking, and reaching on a daily basisExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
