Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Job Duties and Qualifications

The role of Maintenance Planner will be to coordinate labor, parts and material, tools and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation, and equipment access for the maintenance team. The Maintenance Planner monitors all preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities at the plant.

 

Under general supervision, responsible for throughput planning, inventory management, just in time planning, material requirements, and capacity modeling, in relation to work requirements placed on the maintenance department, using all available functionality in the applicable SAP module. Effectively schedules work in line with the demands of the business in order to meet KPI targets. Creates, reviews, plans, schedules, and closes work orders on a daily basis Coordinates activities between operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, vendors, and other agencies as necessary Organizes repair, preventative, predictive, and outsourced maintenance activities. Responsible for estimating productive hours, scheduling maintenance activities and equipment, resource allocation, and any other aspects related to maintenance job execution. Provides recommendations for material requirements planning (MRP) settings, forecasting, and inventory levels. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record. Communicates with internal customers, business lines, PM&L, and maintenance leadership to ensure planning activities are prioritized in line with business demands. Promotes and takes an active part in the continuous improvement and quality process. ​​​​​

 

Requirements:

Highly proficient with SAP Excellent computer software skills to include but not be limited to: various Microsoft Windows and Office generations (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance planning or maintenance operations. Petrochemical/Refinery Experience Preferred
