Focus: The Maintenance Planner/Work Activity Coordinator is responsible for successful performance against the Olin Maintenance Work Process, specifically around job execution and coordination of scheduled and emergency work. Core responsibilities will include planning and execution of all maintenance work, ensuring the Maintenance Work Processes are followed, material ordering, and managing equipment rental along with other activities. This position works directly with the maintenance provider to ensure the work is carried out safely in an effective and productive manner.
Maintenance Planner/Work Activity Coordinator Essential Job Functions:
Plans all maintenance work in compliance with planning standards -- ensures scope of work is clearly defined and understood on every job, SAP job packages include resources needed to complete the job, and feedback from Crafts and Operations is used to optimize plans. Oversees maintenance work execution in compliance with the organizational Maintenance Work Process, EH&S standards, and plant production goals -- leads safety discussions, maintains visible onsite presence to assist during work execution during both normal hours and on overtime, and ensures work is executed per the relevant safety standards. Ensures maintenance work progresses per the schedule -- reviews jobs with resources (in-house and shared, leveraged or outside service providers) to address any issues impacting productivity and schedule attainment; progresses job sequences daily in the Scheduling tool; defines and takes steps to prevent delays; is accountable for the success of the scheduled work progression. Manages rental equipment through service provider. Troubleshoots any payment issues or roadblocks with the requested Purchase Orders. Maintenance Planner/Work Activity Coordinator Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an industrial/chemical processing maintenance role that reflects progressive responsibility and knowledge; prior Olin experience preferred Strong mechanical background and multi-crafts job experience Well organized, able to multitask and manage several different jobs at the same time. Able to change priorities quickly in order to meet different deadlines at a short notice SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge preferred; scheduling experience preferred Proven effective verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal capability; trouble-shooting and analytical presentation skills Flexibility to work overtime and make call-outs per plant needs Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
