When deficiencies are discovered, this role is crucial in analysis of alternatives and recommendations of action. Preventative and predictive maintenance plans are also within this role’s scope. + Operational support includes providing technical support to the plant maintenance team on difficult equipment repair issues. Troubleshooting and development of alternatives and recommendations to plant management for optimizing equipment reliability, including emergency work reviews. + Strategic assignments include root cause failure analysis and the implementation of those results. Maintenance Engineer will support the reliability processes to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset effectiveness. Develop disciplined and systematic equipment maintenance strategy based on business needs. Determination of alternatives and building business cases is also a key activity. Support site capital investment program by ensuring long term parts are available and that proper training is conducted for any new technologies insta + Implements maintenance methodologies including Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability Center of Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Equipment Criticality Analysis and other maintenance engineering principles and practices. + Supports the implementation of a comprehensive multi-year “Maintenance Improvement Plan” and monitors KPI data for early identification and resolution of Maintenance issues. + Collaborates with Production and Maintenance personnel to provide design review, repair, and maintenance, including predictive and preventative maintenance activities. **What We Look for In You:** + BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in petrochemical maintenance and/or reliability in a manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing preferred + General understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM), and Criticality Analysis + Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and requirements preferred. + Experience developing, reviewing, and implementing strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment. + Experience with rotating equipment installation and predictive maintenance methods preferred. + Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing tools to identify waste and drive continuous improvement. + Knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME and API and their application in chemical manufacturing industry and integrity of plant equipment + Excellent computer skills to include SAP, manufacturing software, Excel spreadsheets and data analysis, advanced scheduling and web browser software. + Knowledge of SAP preferred. **Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You** Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
