Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Duties will include:
+ Troubleshooting to improve equipment issues.
+ Make program modifications as needed for efficient operation of plant machinery.
+ Establish protocols and be responsible for system access, backups and data recovery
+ Assist in the inventory of all machine software packages within the area of responsibility. Ensure that software updates are obtained and installed as needed.
+ Contact vendors to resolve problems related to controls, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
+ Maintain Lockout/Tagout, CPR, First Aid, Confined Space Entry and other safety related certifications.
+ Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, ISO-TS 16949, ISO 14001 and other standards.
+ Work with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, customers, and suppliers to coordinate improvements with the equipment and process. Work with Product Engineering, suppliers, and customers to develop parts.
+ Train maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repair and corrective maintenance on all equipment.
+ Mechanical - Diagnose machine operating problems, bearings, ball-screws, covers, belts, etc. Electrical - maintaining wiring systems for robots, conveyors, machines, and building lighting; complex control panel troubleshooting, equipment sensors, PLCs, cable problems.
+ Develop detailed and structured documentation that will guide associates & trainees through the diagnostic & repair process (Lessons learned).
+ Demonstrate the capacity and willingness to train and cross train, to further expand the skillsets of others.
+ Identify and react to all safety, quality and productivity issues to promote a continuous improvement environment.
+ Document work in CMMS system. (EAM).
+ Look up parts via machine manuals, as well as order parts by inputting purchase requisition in SAP.
+ Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager
+ Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering function is required. Experience is the Automotive industry is highly preferred.
