Works with and sets the pace for assigned subordinates. Keeps records as required by supervisor. Performs major replacements, new installation and modification of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment of all sizes. Fabricates or repairs metal parts for plant or production machinery. Performs repairs on high and low pressure gas, steam and water systems. Performs specialized welding of aluminum, non-ferrous and stainless steel. Serves as a leadworker and assists in the training of subordinate maintenance personnel. AS A BUILDING MAINTENANCE MASTER MECHANIC Operates lathes, milling machine or drill press in the making of parts for pumps, compressors, cooling tower fans, air handlers and other equipment.
