Focus: The Maintenance Rotating Equipment Technology Lead provides technical support necessary to maintain safe and reliable operation of the rotating equipment used daily while working with a team of skilled crafts and support personnel to deliver rotating precision repairs and implement reliable solutions. The position provides technical expertise and supplier/parts identification that impacts the availability and maintainability of the facility.
Rotating Equipment Technology Lead Position Responsibilities:
Act as Site Rotating Equipment Subject Matter Expert (SME) and respond/react immediately to emergency jobs during and outside of regular working hours to ensure minimal environmental and/or production losses. Provide technical expertise to key stakeholders and personnel to improve the reliability of equipment. Induce preventative maintenance, maintain and expand knowledge base, and drive continuous improvement to achieve best in class reliability. Follow repairs, fabrication, and refurbishments from start to installation; provide technical expertise in repaired techniques as required. Ensure availability of spare parts in area of responsibility; generate and maintain accurate electronic documents for the reliability function.Rotating Equipment Technology Lead Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Must meet one of the following requirements: Associate’s degree* in Rotating Equipment, Industrial Millwright, or related discipline; OR Documented completion of an accredited Millwright apprenticeship program. 10+ years of field hands on experience as a Millwright Technician working in all type of rotating equipment in an Industrial and/or Chemical Process Environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement RCM systems in an industrial environment. Self-driven, effective verbal and written communication skills SAP Plant Maintenance experience. Able to work from heights and within confined spaces. Must be willing and able to travel infrequently for domestic overnight says to support CRE equipment repairs. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
