Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Analyze existing maintenance methods and implement processes to improve and streamline the preventive/predictive maintenance programs.  Assist in Project Management and coordinate the procurement and administration of consultant and contractor services. Monitor vendor activities to assure contractual compliance.  Provide cost estimates, risk analysis, and production estimates for the evaluation of potential projects.  Routinely work with Engineering and Production on projects, priorities, and timetables as required.  Evaluate new manufacturing technology and recommend re-engineering options to improve the economy of maintenance.  Provide maintenance assistance as required on problems relating to operation of production equipment and facilities.  Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.  Utilize and record work in CMMS daily.  Ability to work alone and with little guidance.  Work with plant leadership utilizing a continuous improvement mindset to improve equipment uptime & effectiveness.  Consistently adhere to and support company policies, work instructions and/ or other procedures.  Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy. 

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

Ability to communicate in English, use of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools and basic math calculations.  Mechanical aptitude is necessary for fulfillment of job requirements.  Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience:  

Required:  High School Diploma or equivalent required   Preferred:  Three years of multi-craft maintenance
