Under direct supervision, performs routine maintenance and repair of equipment and general facilities upkeep. Performs preventative maintenance, such as changing fluids, replacing filters, adjusting tension, cleaning intakes and cold-air returns, etc. Must be able to operate forklift, and may operate an order picker. Schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all existing equipmentNotifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of quality problems or supplies neededInforms supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment and corrective actions takenMonitor facility systems to ensure correct and efficient operationsPerform general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks as neededWears protective equipment as necessaryRecommends new and/or replacement purchases of equipment as requiredKeep the maintenance room clean and organizedFollows Lock out-Tag out process

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma

2 years of prior maintenance experienceValid Drivers License is required
 

Preferred:
2 year A.S. degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electronics

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instructions and basic directions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct a normal amount of work on a computer.
