PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for driving continuous improvement in safety performance, maintenance costs, reliability and cost of quality goals.Actively participate in Air Products safety programs, promote and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.Identifying, communicating, implementing, and maintaining “best practices” and procedures.Manage KPIs to measure maintenance performance and improve effectiveness.Ensuring application and compliance with all training, procedures, standards, specifications, federal codes and statutory requirements.Responsible for implementing engineering requirements to satisfy mechanical integrity and reliability initiatives.Continually evaluating maintenance methodologies, preventative/predictive programs, work practices, etc., to improve equipment integrity, reliability, and reduce operational costs.Fostering and supporting positive working relationships at plant levels and regions with internal and external customers.Promote resource sharing across the organization.Facilitate immediate response 24 / 7, 365 reliable and safe operations to all assets.Rapid response and correction of regular and unplanned maintenance to prevent business loss. Compliance to MI and Statutory programs.Preparation and management of maintenance budgets for all plants and companies.Problem solving, diagnostics, troubleshooting initiatives are part of this accountability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This position requires an individual with good leadership abilities coupled with excellent, broad based technical skills.Previously demonstrated / proven, strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills in English and local language are requirements of the position.  The incumbent should possess a minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree (additional preference) in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5-10 years of related maintenance and or project management experience in the industrial gas, chemical, refining and or related industry.Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills are critical to the position. The incumbent must have the ability to function with independent supervision and possess effective communication (verbal / written in English as well as local language).
