Plant Overview: 3-Shift Operation Non- Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates. 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines. Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Maintenance Storeroom Clerk to work at our facility in Cedar Rapids, IA.  Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and be willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment.  This position requires individuals to perform activities involved in the supply of MRO items for the factory. Receive, Stock, & Issue all parts related to the plant and works with the MRO Coordinator to keeps inventory current and accurate.

Responsibilities & Duties: Participate/support the RMP (Risk Management Process) and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions. Maintain and disburse adequate supply of parts to meet plant needs. Issue parts to authorized personnel and assists mechanics with needs. Maintains accurate inventories, (stock and non-stock) weekly, bi-monthly, monthly and annually. Daily cycle counting of specified aisles/bins. Periodic physical inventory. Every 6 months run “Inactive Items Report” and have the Maintenance manager, supervisor and Project Engineer decide what can be obsolete from the system. Participates in reduction of total inventory, and eliminates obsolete parts when able, maintains sufficient stock levels while maintaining cost efficiency and minimum inventory levels. Assure proper stock level of parts and materials.  Check to determine all materials are accounted for and communicate to Buyer. Open “UPS RED” packages first and notify personnel involved. Responsible for UPS Deliveries, UPS outgoing and factory related freight shipments including FedEx and RPS Receive, check, and store parts which includes unloading from delivery trucks. Notify appropriate personnel of any non-stock deliveries. Daily match packing slips to POs and any other receiving paperwork, file, and notify buyer of any discrepancies. Complete GR confirmation and issues for the day by the end of shift. Pull and issue items for Work Orders. Clean up of MRO area according to schedule (garbage daily, sweep weekly). Communicate company policies to visitors and enforces policies and safety regulations. Training and Safety – Provide a safe and healthful work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the company’s Safety Process.  Must be able to work flexible hours, which includes providing coverage for other critical roles within the Maintenance Department.   As necessary, other duties and/or projects may be assigned. Qualifications: Prefer minimum of Associates Degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or a combination of related education and related work experience. Excellent written, oral communication, math skills and typing skills. Must be able to operate a forklift. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills and must be detail and process oriented. Willingness to grow with the organization. Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and be able to identify and solve problems. Incumbent must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have basic computer skills. Work Schedule: 1st Shift
