Maintenance Superintendent
Maintenance Superintendent- Manufacturing Facility Objective Lead the maintenance operations for a Pennsylvania-based manufacturing plant. You will oversee all maintenance activities, labor management, and equipment reliability while ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership abilities to drive operational excellence through effective maintenance planning and team development. Responsibilities + Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and staffing plans to support production goals + Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, prevent failures, and improve maintenance methodologies + Recruit, mentor, and evaluate front-line supervisory personnel to build a capable maintenance team + Determine critical spare parts requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels + Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations, operational procedures, and ISO standards + Maintain detailed maintenance and calibration documentation + Collaborate with plant leadership, engineering teams, and purchasing department on capital projects + Build positive relationships with union representatives and workforce + Coordinate technical training programs for maintenance staff + Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement both immediate and long-term solutions Requirements + Associate's degree in technical field; Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred + 4-6 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environments + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Excellent project planning and prioritization abilities + Demonstrated experience working effectively in team environments + Knowledge of union contract interpretation and scheduling + Self-motivated with ability to work independently + Advanced equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills + Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications + Proven leadership and team motivation abilities + Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude + CNC control systems knowledge preferred This position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401k options.
