The Opportunity
The Maintenance Superintendent oversees the planning, scheduling and resourcing of Operation’s maintenance activities for all Coal Seam Gas field equipment and infrastructure including well site drive heads, flow lines, pipe work, VSD’s, generators, gathering systems, PSV’s, gas processing equipment (compressors, dehydrators and processing balance of plant), power stations pumping stations and all other upstream water/gas production and processing equipment.
The key accountabilities of the position will include:
Developing and maintaining the 5 year shutdown plan, as well as relevant aspects of the asset management framework. Develop and maintain the maintenance tasks, as well as managing maintenance contracts and vendor performance Implement reliability improvement initiatives Be the owner of the CMMS (SAP), as well as maintenance cost budgeting, and spares determination Maintain maintenance performance metrics, conduct RCA and defect eliminations Own the maintenance planning function and ensures integration with all internal/external stakeholders Lead Planner/Schedulers and other maintenance staff
The incumbent will require the following qualifications, skills and competencies:
10+ years experience in CSG operations and maintenance Thorough knowledge of CSG production and processing equipment maintenance including well site, gathering, compression & dehydration, power generation & water management infrastructure Advanced CMMS (SAP) operating knowledge Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Have a pro-active attitude and the ability to be innovative and use initiative when problem solving and decision making Willing and capable to take responsibility and be accountable for own actions and decisions Display the drive and focus to generate solutions to achieve positive results Ability to communicate openly; by questioning and actively listening while respecting other view points
