Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor, Distribution Center

Location: Onsite Spanaway, WA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

What will you do?

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation and relocation of manufacturing equipment, as well as managing the maintenance of dust collection, compressed air, and electrical systems. They will also play a crucial role in developing, training, and mentoring employees on the operation of various manufacturing equipment and processes. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor will be involved in rebuilding, refurbishing, and modernizing outdated machinery, processes, or technology to ensure optimal efficiency.

Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), is a key responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor. They will promptly shut down any equipment that poses a safety risk and enforce all safety and OSHA policies to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborating with manufacturing management, the Maintenance Supervisor will aid in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to all manufacturing equipment.

The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in driving a culture of continuous improvement by contributing ideas for equipment enhancements and enforcing adherence to standard operating procedures. They will also be responsible for making employment decisions and recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, and pay adjustments. Additionally, they will manage the work of employees through effective delegation, auditing adherence to procedures, and providing coaching and mentoring. Regular communication of company and departmental issues, goals, and employee growth and development will be facilitated through team meetings, individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities.

What do you need?

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Valid and up-to-date PIV certification, with knowledge of PIV operations and safety procedures.

Strong leadership skills, safety consciousness, problem-solving abilities, and organizational proficiency.

Compensation: This position pays an hourly rate of $28.84 - $33.33/hour.

Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
