Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Oversees plant maintenance and other directives as requested by management
+ Directs activities within the maintenance department
+ Prepares and coordinates maintenance schedules
+ Projects and allocates tasks
+ Analyzes staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance to work schedules and makes necessary adjustments where needed.
+ Supports the effective and efficient operation of all plant activities by working with all departments to assure effective teamwork, equipment, and personnel.
+ Analyzes downtime and frequent issues to understand root causes and creates/implements countermeasures.
+ Administers system for equipment/asset care and Planned Preventative Maintenance processes and procedures
+ Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, procedures, and instructions
+ Quotes and prepares cost estimates for projects and examine cost estimates and proposals
+ Approves expenses, manages budget, and follows up on various costs related to the department and operations
+ Investigates and recommends purchase of equipment and supplies for maintenance department
+ Manages/Monitors spare parts inventory/ordering
+ Requests bids and supervises work performed by outside contractors
+ Leads, trains, mentors, and evaluates performance of individuals in the maintenance department
+ Leads and supports personnel in achieving company goals of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
+ Monitors and continuously improves processes and personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency
+ Maintains proper documentation and records for expenses, maintenance, safety, etc.
+ Reviews work instructions, offers technical guidance, reviews progress, and advises changes when required
+ Works with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD or CAM
+ Participates in and supports Safety, 5S, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities
+ Educates/trains maintenance staff on performing maintenance and improvement activities of robot operation on production lines
+ Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company.
Ideal candidate should have associates degree or technical certificate in a related field and two to four years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing/production environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
