Maintenance Supervisor

Join us as our new Maintenance Supervisor This position under supervised direction oversees and coordinates efficient maintenance operations and will lead a team of mechanics across multiple shifts within the bio science manufacturing facility. This role also ensures the proper functioning of equipment and systems, adhering to safety standards and protocols. In this role you’ll make an impact by: + Coordinating daily maintenance activities, including inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, while monitoring key performance indicators for efficiency and effectiveness. + Utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule tasks, track performance, and maintain accurate records of activities. + Monitoring and guiding the performance of maintenance staff with the assistance of the department manager, and working towards becoming a technical expert in one process area. + Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and company policies, and assisting with the Ammonia systems Process Safety Management (PSM) Program. + Collaborating with other departments to address maintenance needs and priorities, and coordinating work with external vendors and contractors for repairs. + Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols, and in the procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment. + Identifying and developing proactive maintenance strategies to address unplanned downtime or process contamination concerns for new and existing equipment. + Participating in Asset Care and Focus Improvement teams, providing documentation for Change Control Requests (CCR), Engineering Change Control (ECCs), and assessing plant shutdown coordination. To succeed you must hold: + Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. + Ability to read and write procedures, instructions, policies, or documentation in easy to understand language. + Ability to understand design of experiment models in a production environment. + MS Office and other IT systems needed to perform essential duties. + Ability to professionally present technical information tailored to a broad audience. + Ability to effectively prioritize, work independently, and maintain timelines to complete work like projects. + Ability to work with maintenance management software and tools. + Continuous Improvement root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques and tools. + High school or Technical Trade School diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial is preferred. + 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and bio science sector, with some demonstrated leadership roles.
