To assure a safe, functional and comfortable environment by assisting the Director in directing, coordinating and controlling the activities of the Plant Maintenance, and Plant Operations, in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by HealthAlliance, the NYSDOH, DNV and other local community and government agencies and or any other duties as directed to maintain compliance.
Responsibilities:
Supervise engineering staff engaged in maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. Delegating work to be done by Engineering Department. Delegating work to be done by contractors. Employee discipline. Participates on Hospital Committees. Hold equipment and safety demonstrations. Attend seminars and conferences as needed. Make up and approve work orders. Make routine inspection of plant facility. Performs any other duties as assigned.
Experience:
5 years of maintenance experience, required. 1-2 years hospital maintenance experience, preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
