**Position Summary**
To supervise the daily job assignments in support of Maintenance ensuring compliance with company policy and appropriate regulatory standards during shift hours.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Supervises and ensures compliance with EHS guidelines, cGMP regulations, company policies and other external agency regulations during work execution. Monitors and supports adherence to procedures and programs. Identifies areas of opportunity and of non-compliance (Safety and Quality) and takes specific actions to escalate and to resolve the issue promptly.
2. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance team including technician training, deployment, work execution, work review and approval during shift hours.
3. Manages the use and application of all Maintenance Tools.
4. Develops and/or approve SOPs and other technical documentation required for Maintenance.
5. Works with the Spare Parts group to ensure proper materials and parts are identified and available to sustain corrective activities.
6. Provides support to other departments in the investigations and resolutions of Maintenance related Quality Events.
7. Support basic risk mitigations options and advanced troubleshooting to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions for equipment system problems.
8. Provides a clear vision, defining specific and timely objectives and monitoring team activities, providing specific feedback to motivate, build competencies and enhance performance.
9. Maintains a thorough knowledge of short- and long-range business priorities and objectives through regular communication with site management adjusting Maintenance execution to ensure alignment with strategy and goals.
10. Ensures field personnel are current in their training; maintains status of the training curricula of direct reports.
11. Develop personnel and manage performance.
12. Supports implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish goals to accomplish World-Class Maintenance performance.
13. Supports all Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives by participating in and/or providing resources to improve the reliability of our systems, equipment and operations. Identifies areas of opportunities to optimize equipment and systems using Maintenance Programs data, evaluating the impact on policies and regulations, allocating capital or expenses required, developing action plans, and implementing plans.
14. Ensures Job Plans are current and aligned with the proper Preventive, Predictive Maintenance procedures.
16. Processes QE's, CAPA's and Audit responses according to established due dates.
