Hexcel is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA, Matrix location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Supervise, train, assign work, and provide leadership to maintenance personnel ensuring the effective maintenance of all facilities and associated machinery and equipment.Understand and adhere to company policies and hold employees accountable for any violations. Work to address concerns and resolve problems within and across teamsPrioritize open work order requests from the CMMS system, and assign repairs, PM’s and coordinate other activities for the maintenance workforce.Coordinate with cross functional teams to identify and schedule equipment downtime for PM’s to minimize operational disruptions while maintaining safety protocols.Solicit bids for external maintenance work and coordinate, plan and schedule contractors to support maintenance projects.Effectively communicate with cross functional teams on updates to maintenance schedules, equipment status, and staffing and follow escalation procedures as needed.Lead incident and near miss investigations for root cause, corrective and preventative actions.Oversee inventory, obtain competitive quotes, and purchase parts as needed.Create monthly reports and report out updates on work orders, downtime, maintenance schedules, equipment status, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Three years maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with 5S, LEAN and continuous improvement is preferred.Strong facilitation and communication skills (verbal and written).Computer literacy including proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite of productsProficient in use of CMMS system, Maximo preferred
