Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of mechanics, installers, and repairers. 

Essential Functions:

Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel Monitor employee work levels and review work performance Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use Lead and participate as a member of the site facilities emergency response team Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Non-Essential Functions:

 Participate in hazardous materials and first responder team (HAZMAT; training provided) Maintain clean and organized work space and equipment Additional tasks may include but not limited to process improvement activities, small tool maintenance and repairs, team projects Requisition and purchase required materials, specify, procure, & maintain minimum stock inventory, and process purchase transactions. Support other team members in their primary job functions, cross training, and employee growth strategies. Support team activities & improvement efforts in Kaizen, 5s, maintenance, & facilities events & practices. Perform miscellaneous activities including security badge processing, personnel office moves, etc. Support team members including hands-on training, design drawing reviews, technical tool use and team projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: 8+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, including prior experience in a Lead position Knowledge: Must have a full understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) including how they operate and how they can best fit the needs of the facilities department; Strong business acumen Skills/Abilities: Must demonstrate good leadership and people skills; Ability to plan, schedule and review the work and performance of subordinates; Capable of handling a crew of skilled craftsmen; Ability to handle the stress of dealing with multiple tasks at once; Ability to make decisions quickly during crisis situations; Computer literate and able to work within a Microsoft Windows environment Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Facilities Management or Operations
Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.  As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

 Formal supervisory experience

Top Benefits:

Salary range: $88.088.00 to 114,129.60. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
