At our facility in Lancaster (NY), outside Buffalo (NY), you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within Cascades Packaging Lancaster as the Maintenance Supervisor.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Manage maintenance employees and subcontractors under your responsibility by effectively implementing the schedule of planned work orders;

Ensure the quality of the work of maintenance teams;

Adhere to allocated maintenance budgets;

Apply, maintain and improve reliability system processes;

Ensure monitoring of the OHS risks identified in your sector;

Guarantee optimal execution of operations through the attainment of occupational health and safety targets;

Achieve operational excellence and solve problems by making recommendations to your manager;

Use SAP work order and inventory management;

Collaborate with peers to execute the plan for the facility.

Support CI activities as a sponsor and resource.

You too, put forward your strengths:

 

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree;

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a supervisory role;

Supervisory experience within a heavy 24/7 industrial manufacturing setting is a plus;

Leadership and ability to gain support for proposed solutions and mobilize the team around objectives;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Agility to handle projects based on their scope, budget and timelines;

Ability to support and advise business partners on occupational health and safety issues;

Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP (an asset).
