Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is foremost a leader and responsible for making decisions regarding the proper functioning of mechanical and electrical equipment that supports the manufacturing of recycled resin.

Responsible for leading a team of mechanical and electrical technicians across a 24/7 operation

Checking machinery and assigning repairs and upgrades to technicians as needed

Ensuring that all assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner

Managing the site’s preventative maintenance program to maintain equipment reliability

Working on specified projects and being accountable for completion

Troubleshooting and solving any machinery issues that arise in plant

Scheduling team and overseeing performance

Interacting collaboratively with other shift leaders and site management

Training new team members

Interacting with vendors and contractors in a professional manner

Setting high safety standards for the maintenance team, holding them accountable to those standards, and being a safety leader for the site.

Qualifications:

Required:

3 to 5 years’ experience in high output plastics manufacturing environment with in depth knowledge of hydraulic electrical equipment5 to 10 years’ experience working in maintenance field as manager with direct reportsStrong leadership skills and ability to effectively assess situations and make appropriate decisionsAbility to analyze skills of team members and recognize their strengths and areas of developmentProfessionalism and dedication to excellence in customer care


Preferred:

Bachelor's degreeAccounting or experience with budgets
