From your PASSION to ours
The Maintenance Supervisor will partner with the Maintenance Manager to develop and lead a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring the company's long-term competitiveness. This role requires proven team building, people management, and leadership skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills (including written, verbal, and presentation formats). The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented individual who takes ownership and pride in their contributions.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
+ Develop and enhance the maintenance team's skills through training and mentorship.
+ Provide expertise and training in electrical troubleshooting.
+ Oversee major repairs and maintenance of all production and facility equipment.
+ Manage projects related to new production equipment and process improvements.
+ Program and modify Siemens PLC processes.
+ Coordinate equipment service with external vendors.
+ Plan and execute all maintenance shutdown activities.
+ Manage parts inventory and ordering processes.
+ Implement and enforce plant safety procedures.
+ Manage 24/7 on-call coverage and personnel scheduling.
+ Contribute to and implement quality assurance improvements.
+ Reduce costs by optimizing and implementing a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of processing technologies.
+ Collaborate with production to schedule and execute service work on production and process equipment.
+ Ensure successful maintenance audits.
+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
+ Partner with production to minimize downtime.
+ Collaborate with the Assistant Manager on manpower scheduling needs.
+ Implement corrective actions for quality improvement.
+ Work with production on wastewater treatment needs, including monitoring R/O and DAF systems.
+ Manage within budgetary guidelines.
+ Improve production efficiency levels.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities as required.
Safe Quality Food (SQF) Responsibilities:
+ Maintain food safety and quality standards by performing tasks and keeping the work area clean and sanitary.
+ Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including wearing required protective clothing and practicing proper personal hygiene.
+ Report any food safety issues to designated personnel.
+ Ensure compliance with all food safety programs and maintain accurate documentation.
From your STORY to ours
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
+ Prior supervisory experience.
+ Technical diploma in a manufacturing electrical field is desired.
+ Veterans with relevant military maintenance/technical training and 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Physical Demands:
+ A pre-employment physical and drug screen are required.
+ This position requires the ability to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms regularly. The role involves exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. The ability to climb ladders and work at heights of up to 100 feet is required. Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing are also necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. A full range of body motion is essential.
Work Environment
This position involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, high noise levels, outside weather conditions (all types), and chemicals. The use of company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with OSHA regulations is required.
