JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for safety, employee engagement, productivity, quality, and customer service on an assigned shift. This role directs and coordinates day-to-day shift activities in the by providing leadership and supervision. The Maintenance Supervisor understands and aligns business operations as they execute the role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives. The Maintenance Supervisor shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in its relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies. Furthermore, the Maintenance Supervisor acts consistently with GPI’s core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Direct and support activities and personnel compliance in developing a safe work environment and a fostering a culture of safe performance Achieve productivity by establishing and communicating clear goals, providing requisite resources to the team, engaging the team, and setting appropriate priorities and monitoring progress Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization on key issues (e.g., performance reviews, 1-on-1 meetings, safety meetings, monthly business results, etc.) Facilitate team meetings, intervene as necessary to keep the team’s goals and results consistent with company direction, and work with team members to develop their full potential Guide and support team members to navigate through difficult or complex problems and resolving issues Perform other duties, as assigned.
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
2 - 5 years prior experience in leadership position with Maintenance People leadership or supervisory experienceSKILLS:
Strong electrical and controls experience Mechanical expertise, specifically in hydraulics, including maintenance, repair, and system operation Experience and continuous improvement methodologies (preferred) Ability to create and sustain change Ability to engage a work force Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Project Management Skills (preferred) Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally.
Pay Range: $65,880.00 - $87,840.00
