Job Description
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment. You will locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. You will perform periodic inspections on plant machinery and automated systems, ensuring that they run safely and efficiently at all times with the aim of minimizing downtime. Additionally, you will schedule planned and preventative maintenance work, which may occur outside of normal working hours, and ensure that all machinery and equipment meet safety regulations.
ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.Perform periodic inspections on plant, machinery, and automated systems.Ensure plant and equipment run safely and efficiently at all times, aiming to minimize downtime.Schedule planned and preventative maintenance work, which may be outside normal working hours.Ensure machinery and equipment are kept in good working order and meet all safety regulations.Attend to all breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions swiftly and report to the Director of Operations.Repair or replace broken or defective components in a timely manner.Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and approving invoices.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Document all maintenance work carried out in line with company procedures.Contribute to forward planning of shutdowns and assigning of work within the production schedule and in alignment with the manufacturing budget.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting mechanical issuesMaintenance repair of industrial equipmentScheduling maintenance tasksLeadership skillsKnowledge of mechanical systems, facility maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumaticsAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience working in manufacturing facilitiesExperience working in teams with high levels of communication, planning, and execution of maintenance tasks, assignments, and projectsAt least 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance operative, including maintaining presses, heat treat ovens, and grinding machinesKnowledge of welding, fabrication, plumbing, fitting, and general repairs to mechanical equipmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawingsAbility to use maintenance software is desirableBasic knowledge of electrical installations and drawingsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing facility that requires knowledge of welding, fabrication, plumbing, fitting, and general repairs to mechanical equipment. The role involves reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and utilizing maintenance software. Basic knowledge of electrical installations and drawings is also beneficial. The environment is safety-conscious, and you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
