As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will create a safe work environment for employees and maintaining the reliability of the plant equipment and facilities through systemic preventative and corrective maintenance and by problem solving and correcting unplanned breakdowns.  You will supervise the mechanical workforce and provide coaching for their growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, assign and oversee maintenance work assignmentsLead team meetings and problem-solving effortsPerformance coaching/counseling and serving as a resource for wage employees who service three functional areas defined as Facilities, Paint Production, and Resin Production.Track performance within the department by key metricsComply with PPG and regulatory requirements including maintaining proper documentationOversee outside contractors

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma, a degree in a science or technical area is preferred.3+ years of maintenance experience2+ years of supervisor experience, including trainingExperience with technical problem solving and scheduling/planning of maintenanceExcellent communication, management and supervisory skillsUnion supervisory experience is a plus
