 Maintain complete maintenance records and PM schedules for all equipment and facilities.Recommend equipment modifications to improve the process, productivity and finished product quality. Analyze performance issues related to equipment. Tear down, inspect and replace components as needed. Troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical equipment to define root cause and repair in a timely manner.Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment.Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.Maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and expense to the company.Design, measure, analyze, implement and control (DMAIC) mechanical process improvements.Practice continuous improvement concepts in all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.PLC knowledge preferred.Ability to read electrical diagrams.Ability to read machine drawings.Advanced understanding of Fluid mechanics (hydraulics & pneumatics)Experience in MIG and TIG welding (food grade welding knowledge a plus)Extensive experience with precision tools such as micrometers, Vernier & dial calipers, dial indicators, levels, gauge blocks.Experience with sheet metal fabrication preferred.Able to work effectively in the following environments: cold, hot, wet, high areas.

Associate Requirements Associates Degree Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $33.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
