Maintenance Team Lead
Under direction from the Plant Maintenance Engineer, the night shift Lead Technician is responsible for the mechanical performance of all plant equipment through continuously improving and sustaining equipment reliability. Through increased reliability we will strive for zero unplanned downtime on production and utility equipment. Direct the work of mechanics and PM mechanics. Actively participate in the preventative maintenance duties as outlined in the Preventative Maintenance Program. Able to perform maintenance tasks involving troubleshooting and repairing all facility equipment. A sense of urgency in terms of maximizing production and minimizing downtime is necessary in this type of manufacturing environment. Tasks performed involve work with equipment and materials that require familiarity with formal safety and sanitation procedures and the following of these procedures to maintain the safety of the work environment and to avoid product contamination.

Interface with Maintenance Scheduler/Planner day shift Lead Maintenance and PM techs to coordinate

Interface with PM technicians on planned preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and accuracy of work

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two (2) years in a lead positionMinimum of two (2) years industrial maintenance background with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.Experience using a computerized SAP maintenance management system (CMMS)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls (PLC’s, HMI’s, Sensors, etc.)Strong computer and standard software experience (MS Office, E-Mail, CMMs, etc.)Knowledge of Predictive maintenance tools and technologiesProject management & timeline execution.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs.

Preferred

5 years industrial maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environmentExperience using SAP CMMS applicationsExpert understanding of electrical principles tools and troubleshooting techniquesExperience and ability to troubleshoot and program on Allen Bradley ladder logic platformsExperience or certification in vibration monitoring, alignment and thermal imaging techniquesUnderstanding of NFPA70E
