Purpose:
Maintenance Team Leaders drive a holistic management culture that oversees department daily maintenance requirements. They embrace shop floor management while monitoring daily work orders, train employees and respond to line issues. They are also required to perform maintenance, machine adjustments and make schedule adjustment when necessary. Maintenance Team Leader is required to motivate & mentor employees, create schedules, track and improve key metrics. Each Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for supporting the company’s mission statement and the overall business objective.
Nature & Scope:
Maintenance Team Leader is required to have good verbal and written communication skills. They must display willingness to work as a team. They must also participate in leadership training. This position requires good working relationship within the facility. External communication is required. This position reports to the Plant Engineering Manager.
