ResponsibilitiesThis position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
As a Maintenance Team Lead, your role is to provide technical support for process and equipment issues in the assigned area. Work closely with area Engineers, Unit Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and other technical & Maintenance team members to identify areas of opportunity and resolve issues to improve department performance. Responsible for leading efforts to identify and resolve equipment related issues. Individuals will also have a key role in developing training plans. The regular work schedule of this position will include one day on the weekend and occasionally require overtime.

Troubleshoot complex/critical processes or equipment and provide hands on approach to resolve. Responsible for the safety of all employees within the departmentSupport activities to increase safety awareness, boost moraleOversee maintenance team and monitor plant utility and support systemsProvide directions to the maintenance team on all process interruption calls to ensure actions are aligned with production goalsAssess training needs and administer training as necessaryAssess talent and ensure the development of teamCommunicate effectively with all levels of operationsMaintain good housekeeping of the maintenance shopAssists with employee performance evaluations and may counsel employees as neededCompletes daily attendance reports for departmentActively participates in problem solving and continuous improvement QualificationsRequirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of electrical and controls troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.College or Technical college coursework highly desiredStrong computer skills (minimum above average ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access desired)Ability to work with and create Excel spreadsheets using formulas and macrosIntermediate understanding of PLCs and experience with PLCS programming desiredExperience using SAP and ability to learn to use other software programs (ie CMMS)Detailed oriented Must be able to be involved in several projects at one time, able to ensure progress through continued monitoring, prioritizing, and follow-upAbility to work with associates at all levels of the organizationAbility to provide effective informal coaching and trainingAbility to set priorities and cope with several problems simultaneouslyAbility to create training documents, single point lessons, and forms as neededPossess good communication skills (verbal and written)Possess a positive professional attitudePower industrial truck certifiedLock out tag out certifiedPactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
