About the role:As a Maintenance Team Manager you will Direct Mechanics, oversee personnel to ensure adherence to Westinghouse requirements, plans, specifications, industrial and safety standards. Manage resource demand process and setting daily goals to ensure the appropriate resources are used to support project and facility needs
You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be located at Columbia, SC onsite.
Key Responsibilities:Strengthen that our overriding priority is to protect our employees, the public, and the environment. Ensure personnel understand and comply with our core Nuclear Safety Culture principles, including prioritizing industrial, criticality, chemical, radiological, and environmental safety
Set daily operational goals for the Mechanic Team. Ensure applicable procedures are understood and followed by direct reports
Coordinate scheduling of projects, scheduling of resources, task walkdowns with Work Management
Maintain appropriate metrics to validate safety, craft use, task delivery and cost performance
Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and the facility
Familiar with installing, maintaining, and repairing machines and equipment
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required
At least five years in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience as a manager or supervisor of mechanics
Experience working as a mechanic
