Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will diagnose mechanical or electrical failures by understanding and diagnosing error codes. They must have the ability to follow all safety rules and regulations, with the understanding of extended safety requirements in the maintenance, electrical, technical, and the use of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).  This individual must have their own tools. They will also be responsible for upholding the standard policies and procedures within their assigned department.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS:Ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical failuresAbility to understand and diagnose error codes (Electrical or Mechanical)Ability to understand multiple conveyor controls logic.Experience with PLC controllers, understanding of I/O (inputs & Outputs)Preferred experience with RS logicExperience with MCP (Motor Control Panels)Experience diagnosing photo eyes, bar code readers, dimensionersExperience with Inverters as well as VFDAbility to replace and wire a 480  3 phase motor with a brakeAbility to replace speed reducer (Gear Box)Knowledge of air control systems (Air Compressors, Valves, Actuators, Cylinders, Devises)Ability to weld (Arc, Gas, Wire, and soldering)Experience with high-speed Unit Sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding shoe)Experience with Case Sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, swivel wheel)Experience with high-speed Induction conveyor (servo motor) controlsExperience with Warehouse Control Systems and SCADA such as Pyramid DirectorExperience with high speed In-Motion ScalesExperience with high throughput, precision application Print & Apply systemsExperience with ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System)Experience with MDR (Motorized Drive Roller) conveyorsExperience with Powered Curve conveyorsElectrical knowledge, 600v,480v,240v,120v,24v,12vElectrical knowledge of transformers and hydraulicsExperience with trash compactors and corrugated balersUnderstanding all facility needs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, & electricalAble to read and understand schematics, blueprints, etc.Must have thorough knowledge of all shop tools

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations, with the understanding of extended safety required in the Maintenance, electrical, technical trades required to perform repairs on the above listed equipment through previous training and or job experience as well as any classroom training.Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Turret, Reach, Order Picker, Walker Rider, Manual Pallet equipment, etc.Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant.Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safetyCommunicate with upper management dailyExhibit excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be detail orientedMust be able to take constructive criticismMust always exhibit the ability to work in a professional and courteous manner Must be able to perform any other special projects and/or general requests made by direct supervisor as neededAbility to comprehend company customized systems and programs, e.g., WMS, Crisplant, etc.Ability to contribute hands on.Work with minimal supervisionPerform housekeeping duties when neededEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 7 years working on Automation equipmentMust have PLC and Electrical Training

Pay range is $34-$38
