**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the operations of our plant. You will work closely with an engineer to 'own' a section of the plant, write work instructions, implement upgrades, complete major repairs, and conduct specialized maintenance tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support development of machine specifications for new equipment, machines, and tooling.
+ Investigate root cause of quality failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
+ Assist in training team leaders, maintenance, and tooling personnel as needed.
+ Monitor equipment cumulative cycles for predictive machine rebuild activity.
+ Conduct and lead major equipment rebuild activities.
+ Execute and verify the quality of preventive maintenance activities.
+ Assist in the development of techniques for specified production processes (tube welding, hydro-forming, assembly, liner manufacturing).
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
+ 3+ years of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience (sensors, basic PLC, circuits).
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.
+ Knowledge of material processing, tooling, and part fabrication.
+ Ability to read electrical prints and blueprints to diagnose machine issues.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Welding experience.
+ Automotive experience.
+ Strong PLC troubleshooting experience.
+ Fabrication skills.
+ Robotics experience.

**Work Environment**
Our facility operates with automated tube benders, welder machines, ABB material handling robots, conveyors, and Allen Bradley/Siemens/Beckhoff PLC troubleshooting systems. We manufacture metal exhaust systems for automotive manufacturers, involving a lot of tube bending, assembly, and shipping. The environment is fast-paced and clean, though some areas can be louder due to machinery. The dress code requires compliance with all PPE and safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe shoes at all times. We provide safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00
