**Job Title: Multicraft Maintenance Technician – PM Shift** **Location:** Huntsville, AL **Company Overview:** Aerotek’s client is a leading (industry type) company committed to innovation and excellence in manufacturing. We are seeking four dedicated and highly skilled Multicraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team on the PM shift. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of equipment and systems across the plant. **Job Description:** The Multicraft Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment. This role demands a strong knowledge of electrical systems (including 480v and 3-phase motors), mechanical systems, and various plant machinery. You’ll work independently and collaboratively with a team to perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and reliability testing to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various mechanical and electrical systems including 480v, 3-phase motors, PLC-controlled equipment, and other plant machinery. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring optimal functioning of electrical circuits and systems. + Troubleshoot and repair a variety of automation systems including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, and CNC machines. + Perform mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, chillers, air handling units, conveyors, and more. + Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to guide repair and installation tasks. + Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on both older and newer equipment. + Participate in reliability testing to ensure equipment efficiency and safety. **Required Skills and Experience:** + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with 480v and 3-phase motors. + Solid mechanical maintenance experience (hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, etc.). + Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, CNC machines, and related automation systems. + General familiarity with plant maintenance equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and more. **Additional Skills (Preferred):** + Experience working with PLC programming and automation systems. + Familiarity with preventative and corrective maintenance practices. + Ability to adapt to working with both older and newer machinery. **Experience Level:** Entry-level candidates with a strong foundational knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance are encouraged to apply. **Shift:** PM Shift (Exact hours to be confirmed upon hire). **Why Join Us?** This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintenance work and want to gain experience with a variety of systems and equipment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
