We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, the Maintenance Tech assists in general maintenance functions of the hospital grounds and hospital properties, with a major focus of maintaining the utility systems and associated components. **What qualifications you will need:** + High school graduate or equivalent preferred + At least three to five years of commercial or industrial experience in maintenance and repair of power plant machinery and equipment + At least three years of practical experience in an accredited hospital engineering department preferred + Ability to read, write and understand English HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
