We have an outstanding career opportunity for aMaintenance Techto join a leading Company located in theNaples, FLsurrounding area.
With minimum guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks of complex scope and nature in one or more of the following areas: production equipment, diagnosis, and repair of conventional and CNC machinery.
Responsibilities :
+ Remove, repair, or relocate CNC machines; install air & water lines; align and adjust machines for production operation.
+ Diagnose defects and perform repair and preventive maintenance to various types of hydraulic equipment, CNC machine tools, building plumbing and related equipment.
+ Construct, install, maintain, repair, and overhaul test stands, fixtures, and related hydraulic equipment.
+ Setup and operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.
+ Perform high-pressure tubing and hose fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic application and contamination control.
+ Plan, layout, and construct additions, partitions, benches, shipping boxes, and other carpentry.
+ Assist in planning the sequence of operations and methods to be used in overhaul and repair.
+ Check and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment after installation.
+ Identify and repair CNC machine malfunctions.
+ Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and mechanical operations for proper operation.
+ Use precision test equipment.
+ May work with computers and computer software to create and operate programs, reports, and spreadsheets.
+ As a specialized hazardous material technician, may :
+ Coordinate inventory and pickup of hazardous material and maintain a current inventory of on-site chemicals.
+ Advise and assist in cleanâup of chemical spills.
+ Coordinate packaging, labeling, storing, and scheduling pickup of hazardous waste for offsite disposal.
+ Maintain accurate records of all hazardous waste shipped offsite.
+ Initiate compliance inspections.
+ Provide technical assistance on hazardous materials compliance and safe practices.
+ Perform other related responsibilities.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum five years of related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
+ May require a Hazardous Material Handling Certificate.
+ May require forklift operator certification.
Desired Qualifications :
+ May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace-associated equipment.
+ Ability to work from blueprints and sketches.
+ Possess the required tools.
+ May require the ability to set up and operate hand and power tools.
+ May require working knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes.
+ Knowledge of general hydraulics technology, i.e., pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, piping, tube bending, and piping fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, may be required.
+ May require knowledge of chemicals and their characteristics.
+ May require working knowledge of computer and computer software to operate programs and create reports and spreadsheets.
+ Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.
