Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Open Interviews held Tuesday each week. Please arrive between 1pm-3pm. This is a manufacturing site that customers often visit. You must wear long pants, closed toed shoes and a shirt with sleeves in order to interview. If you are not dressed properly, you will be turned away and asked to come back the following week.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment Performs troubleshooting, problem solving, and countermeasure activities on all production and facility equipment Performs mechanical maintenance with frequent electrical (480V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC) and controls-related troubleshooting Dismantles machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repairs or replaces Completes daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists Assists with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations Performs special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

Thorough understanding of maintenance troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing equipment Working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives Ability to read and follow written instructions Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications Open scheduling availability Your Education Should Be…

Minimum Education: 

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Trade or Technical school a plus

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mostly Outdoor/Shop Environment Must be able to work outdoor and indoor

 

REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:

Safety Glasses Steel Toe Shoes Ear Plugs Gloves (when needed) Hard Hats (when needed) Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Minimum Experience:

3+ years of electrical maintenance experience

1+ years of experience with CNC Machine Repair

1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desirable

Experience with troubleshooting PLC based control systems desired

Strong background in electrical troubleshooting highly recommended

 

 

Skills Required: (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):

Welding and fabrication skills considered a plus
