Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our Delaware City, DE facility.

This hourly position supports our Hydrogen Plant in Delaware City, DE located onsite at the PBF Refinery.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for maintaining/troubleshooting all equipment and day to day facility maintenance.Some travel may be required to support other Air Products facilities within the United States.

Qualifications:

3 years maintenance experience in a petrochemical or manufacturing environment2-year associate degree in mechanical applications or high school diploma/GED followed by apprenticeship training or military experience relating to mechanical functions.Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of static and rotating equipment using appropriate tools and test equipment.Background in maintaining pumps, mechanical seals, vessels, exchangers, steam turbines, gas turbines, gear drives, and reciprocating and centrifugal compressors is crucial.Strong machinery and rotating equipment knowledge are a plus.Must have experience with cranes and rigging.Must have a strong verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work as an individual or in a team environment.
