Job Overview: Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift. 7:30p - 3:30p with the possibility to off shift as needed As a Maintenance Tech Trainee, you will prepare for and learn by various ways, maintenance duties by performing moderate troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation techniques. You will learn and expand your knowledge in both facilities and production maintenance. Job Responsibilities: Participates in machinery trouble-shooting; documents repairs made. Replaces or repairs defective parts. Works on assigned projects; responds to emergency maintenance calls. Interprets technical documents (prints, manuals) as required. Maintains constructive cross-functional relationships. Communicates, discusses and shares information about equipment malfunctions with other maintenance workers and team leads to develop and implement a corrective action plan. Evaluates and adjusts machinery for changes in materials, environment conditions, and operational error. Searches for and executes against continuous improvement opportunities. Performs work in a quality fashion. Observes functionality of installed equipment and systems to detect mechanical, electrical or operational hazards to determine the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Operates machining tools and drill presses; performs basic welding operations. Troubleshoots basic alarms related to key winery systems. Provides preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services for wine processing equipment, bottling line equipment, and filtration equipment.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Depending on work location may be required to work a rotating shift/schedule throughout the year (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
Required to perform job duties at extreme heights.
Required to lift and carry equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds.
Required to work in tight and confined spaces.
Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within Maintenance.
Required to complete formal training courses as determined by Gallo.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation: Hiring Salary Range Posted: $22.93 - $30.97 / hour Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
