Also provides opportunities to gain additional exposure to PLCs and other systems to improve performance!** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves replacing and repairing motors, gears, shafts, and bearings. You will also be responsible for welding and fabricating replacement parts using MIG or TIG, troubleshooting basic mechanical drive systems, and performing general preventive maintenance, installations, and condition monitoring of equipment. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (80/20) + Replace and repair motors, gears, shafts, and bearings + Weld and fabricate replacement parts using MIG or TIG + Troubleshoot basic mechanical drive systems + Perform general preventive maintenance, installations, and condition monitoring of equipment **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent schooling + Strong mechanical aptitude + Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and fabrication **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ year of mechanical troubleshooting experience + Ability to work with motors, hoppers, mixers/blenders, and pumps **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position-based Kings Mountain, NC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Gastonia,NC. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
