Maintenance Technician 1
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and controls. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret manuals to understand industrial equipment and controls. + Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, including rewiring as needed. + Disassemble machinery and equipment for maintenance or repair. + Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure proper functioning. + Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications. + Install new production equipment. + Service and maintain equipment including boilers, motors, conveyor systems, hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical transmission systems, and other industrial production-related equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. + Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. + Weld and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades. + Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. + Communicate with cross-functional teams and maintain a clean work area. + Prepare and submit maintenance reports. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Preventive maintenance + Electrical + Mechanical + Maintenance technician experience + Hydraulics + Pneumatics + Repair and service skills + Schematic reading + HVAC knowledge + Blueprint reading + PLC troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 1-3 years of experience within an industrial environment + Experience working with electrical/mechanical systems, boilers, conveyors, controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mig/stick welding **Why Work Here?** We focus on safety and training, providing a 2-months+ training program for all maintenance technicians. Training will last 1 to 3 months depending on experience and will start on the regular shift. The schedule can change based on the assigned shift, with possible adjustments to a 6 am start time to allow for training with a technician on the 1st shift. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
