Perform department tasks including one or more of the following:
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild Surfacing, Finishing and AR Coating equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment
Disassemble, clean, and rebuild specialized laboratory machinery
Perform online equipment repairs
Perform machinery preventive maintenance activities as prescribed by the manufacturer
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as needed
Maintain equipment maintenance records
Assist with a variety of facility and departmental process improvement projects
Troubleshoot a wide variety of computer-controlled automation equipment
Perform building infrastructure maintenance tasks including light plumbing, painting, and general facility upkeep
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Two to four years of experience in factory equipment maintenance
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with fluid power, mechanical, and thermal system experience
Experience in troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and motor control systems, including use of electrical diagnostic equipment and ability to read system schematics and drawings
General understanding of process quality control and Total Productive Maintenance practices
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot automation control computers, PLCs, and networks
Familiarity with office computer systems hardware and software, including MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting with a Customer-Centric ethic
Familiarity with safety and health requirements relating to maintenance activities
Able to lift 40-50 pounds unassisted, stand up to 100% of the time, and perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
Experience with Lockout / Tagout procedures
Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks
Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
