**Job Title: Maintenance Technician 1st Shift & 2nd Shift** **Job Description** This is a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician position (6 AM - 2 PM) or 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (2 PM -10 pm). You will work 41.25 hours Monday to Friday during training and 48 hours once training is complete, Monday to Saturday. You will be responsible for troubleshooting robotic plastic injection machines, performing real changes, and reading blueprints. This role involves highly skilled troubleshooting and repair of a variety of injection molding machines (Arburg) including pneumatics, hydraulics, assembly machines, and automation lines. You will also work with electronics, machine controls, machine vision systems, electrical, software, hardware, and robotics systems. Experience with Siemens controlled automation lines is preferred. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot robotic plastic injection machines and perform real changes. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Perform skilled troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machines (Arburg), including pneumatics and hydraulics. + Maintain assembly machines and automation lines consisting of electronics, machine controls, machine vision systems, electrical, software, hardware, and robotics systems. + Analyze and correct injection molding process defects and errors based on operator maintenance requests. + Troubleshoot electrical issues, including fuses and rewiring motors, and ensure relays and contacts are working. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of experience with injection molding in the automotive industry. + 5 years of experience with automation assembly lines combined with injection molding processes. + 3 years of experience reading blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Arburg and Battenfeld Injection Molding machines is preferred. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming. + Knowledge of electrical schematics. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a temperature-controlled, clean, and highly organized facility. The environment is brightly lit and air-conditioned during the warm summer months. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of KENTWOOD, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00 Full Company Benefits Effective Day 1 proceeding start Month. If employees start in January, eligible for benefits Feb 1.
